In response to Sunday’s successful mission to kill Osama bin Laden, Twin Towers Go Global (TTGG) will join with its fellow New Yorkers, as well as freedom-loving people across the globe, in celebration of this milestone in the war on terror. In conjunction with President Obama’s scheduled visit to Ground Zero on Thursday, TTGG will host a day of remembrance and festivities at it’s headquarters and surrounding grounds. TTGG has invited a roster of guests from across the sports, entertainment, and political spectrum, many of whom have articulately responded to the development in the past few days. Among the confirmed guests are Michael Bloomberg, John Boehner, Charles Barkley, pro-wrestler John Cena, Kim Kardashian, and Neil Patrick Harris. In addition, festival-goers will have the opportunity to choose from a wide array of souvenirs, including commemorative posters, T-shirts, and mugs. All are invited to attend, but are kindly requested to have ID ready and be prepared for a physical search by security officers.
“Responses to the news of Bin Laden’s death will vary around the world,” said Twin Towers Go Global (TTGG) Media Central Director Cromley today. “We will let our Twin Towers Go Global partners in Kabul, Korea, Gaza, Medellin, and all other locations respond in the way they best see fit.”
